Adopt-A-Plant Greenhouses is owned by Beth Harnist and operated by her and a friendly staff. Beth is a second generation greenhouse grower specializing in a vast variety of perennials for the wholesale and retail trade. There are over 300 varieties of perennials, as well as annuals, herbs, vines, hostas and her beautiful hanging baskets and containers.

Going into her 10th year of business, Beth's backyard greenhouse has evolved into a picturesque garden center open to the public six months a year. Because there is no "middle man", prices are low. Gallon perennials are only $6.50 (5 for $30.00) and quarts are $3.25 (5 for $15.00).

Adopt-A-Plant Greenhouses are located north of Harrison Ohio, minutes from I-74. To visit the garden center, take I-74 west, exit 1 (New Haven Road) and turn right. Continue on New Haven Road for 5 miles until you reach a 3-way stop in the little town of New Haven. Turn left at the intersection onto Oxford Road. Proceed three tenths of a mile to 10856 Oxford Road.
