PERENNIAL – Leaves get tough and bitter after first year so it is better to treat as an annual.  Can also be grown as a HOUSEPLANT in a sunny window


Plant in well drained soil and keep slightly moist

Harvest leaves early in the morning to get best flavor.

Freeze in ice cube trays with melted butter, olive oil or water. Store cubes in freezer bags.

Dry in cool, dark place so leaves don’t turn brown. Store in air-tight opaque container.





Rich in Vitamins A, B & C and contains the flavonoid apigenin, which is an anti-allergen.  More Vitamin C than oranges.  High in calcium and iron.
