One of the easiest herbs to grow.
Use leaves and flowers in soups, salads, corn, peas, carrots, cauliflower, tomatoes, fish, poultry, potatoes and egg dishes.
Good companion plant for grapes, roses and tomatoes.
Repels black spot and Japanese beetles on roses, and scab on apples.

Fresh leaves and flowers can be kept cool and dry in a sealed plastic bag and stored up to a week in the refrigerator.
Freeze in ice cube trays with melted butter, olive oil or water. Store cubes in freezer bags.
Dry in cool, dark place so leaves don’t turn brown. Store in air-tight opaque container. Dried leaves lose a lot of its flavor.
