Lemony, camphor-like, bitter flavor.

Dried, it has the familiar flavor used in stuffings and sausage.

Fresh leaves have a different milder flavor.  Use in butters, eggs, cottage cheese, meats, marinades, veggie and tomato dishes.

Use fresh flowers in salads, rice and meat dishes.

Repels flies, cabbage moths & carrot flies.

Magnet for bees and butterflies.  Results in some of the best honey.

Purple Sage has leaves tinged with purple to brighten up salads.  Milder flavor than Green Sage.

Harvest leaves, stems & flowers at any time.

Freeze in ice cube trays with melted butter, olive oil or water. Store cubes in freezer bags.

Dry in cool, dark place so leaves don’t turn brown. Store in air-tight opaque container.
